Contributions
We gladly accept contributions to the Library Fund throughout the year. Making a contribution to the Library is a wonderful way to honor friends or family members. Honor someone at Mother's Day, Father's Day, or on a birthday with a contribution to the Library Fund. Make contributions by sending a check to the church and label it as "Library Fund":

Donations
We appreciate the donation of new or used books or other items, which may either be used on the shelves or placed in our library surplus shelf for sale. Sales benefit the Library. New and 'gently used' books accepted with the understanding that they -

-They may be sold to raise funds for needed materials or donated to other nonprofits

BOOK SELECTION CRITERIA:
The following will be used to determine if a book or resource is added to the collection:
Currency - Generally, more recent works will be required (10 years or less), some classics in good condition will be added as needed (case by case).
Condition - "Gently used" or new resources
Topic - The Arts, Bible Studies, Biography, Church in Society, Fiction, Methodism, History, Missions, Personal Growth, Spiritual Growth, and Parenting.
Appropriateness - Topic, style, content, reading levels for target audience, etc.
Format - Only current formats accepted (i.e., DVD's); Historical VHS's can be accepted for the Archives to consider
Size - Items too small or large may not be as easy to use, shelve, or access.
Book Sales
Periodically, as resources are weeded as outdated or in poor condition and duplicates are located via donations accepted, the library may hold a book sale open to the public and raise funds to buy needed books or supplies.
